This project is a catalogue of news headlines. I am hoping to accomplish two things with it:
I am collecting the headlines, video, sound bites, clippings, photos, etc so that I have source material in a variety of different media. This data will be used to build the backbone for an online story engine. Once an engine is created, I will replace the news clips with a created story. I have chosen news headlines for topics that would qualify as being in the "conspiracy theory" realm because of the "narrative" depth of many of the arguments. Working with headlines also allows me to work with consistent themes that generate source material in a variety of media. I have tried to pick topics that are interesting but will also provide an endless flow of new material should I need it. The process of being able to build around the content will allow for an indepth discovery of the logic and writing techniques that will be required to script such dense media pieces.
